Insurance 1 was organized under the present name in 1981 to transact all forms of insurance for our personal and commercial customers.

Frank Daniel Insurance, Inc. and Bradford Insurance Agency, Inc. were the two original agencies formed in 1981 as Insurance 1, Inc. In July of 1985 Brian Duke Agency, Inc. joined Insurance 1, Inc. and Martin Heyman joined the firm in 1994.

James Bradford, Jr., Brian Duke, Jr. and Martin Heyman are the owners of Insurance 1, Inc. Since our inception Insurance 1, Inc. has grown and prospered in our community. In 1995 the owners purchased the office building which Insurance 1, Inc. occupies.

Today Insurance 1, Inc. represents many stable, progressive and reliable insurance companies. They agree to provide our clients with sound protection backed by service. As representatives of our clients, we make certain they do just that. Our success depends on the efforts of every member of our firm. We take pride in our professionalism and sound business reputation. Our customer satisfaction is by far our most important asset.

Insurance 1 periodically reviews all their customers insurance coverage. Our personal lines customers are periodically sent reviews. We ask that the review information sheet be completed and returned to us so that we may thoroughly review their coverage and make changes that the customer deems appropriate. Our commercial customer receive an annual in-house review by our commercial lines department. An agent will then contact the customer so we may personally review and help them update the coverage as they deem necessary.

At Insurance 1, customer satisfaction in handling your day to day insurance needs or claims is our most important asset.

As an independent agent we do business with many companies. We can take your specific needs and tailor your coverage to suit those needs. A direct writer agent can only use his company and must try to fit his customer into the mold that the company has designed; not necessarily what the customer needs.

We will always take the time and make the effort to tailor the product to you - not you to the product. We can also deal independently with our companies in case of a claim. We will be representing your interests, not the interests of the company.

We are not hired by them, we are hired by you to see that you are treated fairly and your claim paid promptly.
